Development and Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Executive Director
A member of a seven-person staff team and working directly with the Executive Director and Development Director, the
Development and Marketing Coordinator (DMC) plays an important role in supporting the organization’s development and
marketing infrastructure to enable Opera Parallèle to effectively steward donor and audience relations.
Since its inception, Opera Parallèle has created valuable experiences for emerging performers and administrators through its internship programs. Our artistic and administrative professionals enjoy sharing their experience and their work lives with well-chosen interns, and our organization reaps the benefit of the energy and perspective that these interns bring. Singers, instrumentalists, conductors, stage directors, production personnel, and administrators beginning their careers should consider an Opera Parallèle internship as a potentially valuable real-world experience with a vibrant, edgy company.
Internships are available in Conducting, Stage Management and Opera Production, Stage Direction, Educational Outreach, and Arts Administration.
