The Emissary: Creators Conversation Virtual Event
Wednesday, October 11 at 6 pm PT, Opera Parallèle invites you to join us for a free virtual event with the creators of The Emissary, discussing the process of adapting and creating this world premiere family opera for young performer participants and multi-generational audiences.

Composer Kenji Oh, librettist Kelley Rourke, and OP Artistic and General Director Nicole Paiement will be in-conversation on OP’s commission of this new opera, adapted from Margaret Mitsutani’s English translation of Japanese author Yoko Tawada’s celebrated, award-winning novel.
