Artist Submissions
Opera Parallèle welcomes submissions from singers, instrumentalists, librettists, composers, directors, conductors, and other artists whose work aligns with our mission to create and present compelling contemporary opera. We invite artists to share materials and information about their artistic practice using the form below.
Please note that Opera Parallèle holds auditions and reviews new works on an as-needed basis. While all submissions will be reviewed and kept on file for future opportunities, we may not be able to respond to each one individually. Should a suitable project arise, a member of our artistic team will reach out directly.
Internships
Seasonal Internships are available in Arts Administration – we are able to create an internship to suit your interests in marketing, development, artistic planning or community engagement.
OP is currently only able to offer internships to students currently enrolled in a university program that offers course credit for their work.
If you are interested in applying for an internship, please send a letter of inquiry and resume to Daniel Harvey.
Volunteer
Opera Parallèle use volunteers in many capacities, including as ushers at select performances and events, for office assistance for particular projects, and more.
If you are interested in volunteering for OP future performances or projects, please fill out our online interest form and we will email you with our next opportunities.
Do you have a special skill? We have used volunteers for photography, supernumeraries in performances, and other select skills, etc. If you have a particular idea for a way you can volunteer, contact us at info@operaparallele.org.
