Help OP nurture the next generation of young talent.

Be part of the Story. Give today!

Greetings!

Opera Parallèle would like to thank you for being a valued member of our community and joining us in our commitment to bringing new music and relevant stories to our audiences.

An essential part of our commitment is the ongoing development and nurturing of young singers like soprano Christabel Nunoo. Christabel first sang with OP in our 2018 production of The Little Prince by Rachel Portman, where she appeared as “The Snake.” We are excited for her return in her role as Modesty in our upcoming Hands-On-Opera workshop of Harriet’s Spirit.

This Giving Tuesday, we celebrate all our young singers who keep our stages vibrant and all of you who help us support their careers. We hope you enjoy this moving performance by Christabel of John Musto’s Litany set to Langston Hughes’ timely poem reminding us all to “gather up.”

Your support matters!

OP is proud of giving wings to our young talents. Please help us continue to nurture the next generation. Your gift of any size will significantly help this organization through these challenging times. Be part of the story.

With gratitude,

Nicole Paiement
General & Artistic Director

Christabel Nunoo performs John Musto’s Litany. Lyrics from the poem Prayer by Langston Hughes.
Gather up
Gather up, in the arms of your pity
The sick, the depraved, the desperate, the deprived
All the scum of our weary city
Gather up in the arms of your pity
Gather up in the arms of your love
Those who expect no love
